WELCOME to Spirit Chats,

offering small, faith sharing groups reflecting on how God is showing up in your life….

and to spark conversation with others.

Your Spirit Chats Experience begins here…

  • What is Spirit Chats?

We invite you to join us to share how the spirit is showing up in your life and hear how the spirit is seen and heard in the lives of others. We meet in groups of 6 - 10 people for one hour on Zoom. Each session is five weeks long.  There are two co-facilitators in each group and we welcome all people.

Spirit Chats are an opportunity for small group faith sharing. They are a way to strengthen your ability to hear what the Spirit is up to in your day-to-day life while listening to others share their sacred stories of the spirit in their lives. Have you experienced a “God-sighting”  in your life and wanted to share it but weren’t sure where or with whom? Perhaps this awareness of the presence of the spirit has so spilled over into your daily life, you want to talk about it with others, but find it difficult to find the setting. Spirit Chats provides a structured and safe setting for sharing these sacred stories.

Spirit Chats draws from multiple communities and congregations across Maine and New Hampshire and is a program supported by the Episcopal Diocese of New Hampshire and Maine.

  • Spirit Chats Registration

If you feel God has been moving in your life, and you want to hear from others how God is moving in theirs, you are invited to share your story as you journey with others during a five-week session of Spirit Chats.

Spirit Chats began with the Evangelism Task Force—a joint project of the Episcopal dioceses of Maine and New Hampshire— gathering people beyond the walls of the church as well as within we find common ground in discovering the sacred in everyday life.

  • Spirit Cafe, Continuing the Journey

    After Spirit Chats….what’s next?

Your practice of spirit chats is supported throughout the year with gathering opportunties.

You'll be part of a community encouraged to take time for contemplation, listening, and reflecting on how God is showing up in your life as you invite others to share their experience of the sacred in every day life.
